Little Scholars Preschool is a privately owned purpose built preschool with a reputation second to none with 15 years’ experience provides a homely, warm safe environment that is responsive to each child’s interests and sensitive to their individual needs.
We promote a child led flexible play-based approach that supports the overall holistic development of each child, in a secure happy environment.
This approach incorporates strategies and a wide range of positive hands on experiences, interactions and activities through the medium of free play and guided play underpinned by the Aistear and Siolta Frameworks to promote participation and learning for all children in the setting.

At Little Scholars we provide care for children 2years 6 months to school age In our ecce rooms the activities are designed to develop fine and gross motor skills, language, imagination, emotion and social awareness in a fun and play based environment.
At Little Scholars Buddy Club we provide a stimulating Before and After School Programme in a convenient, safe, high-quality environment onsite at St. Ciarán's National School, Baylin. Parents can drop their children to us from 8.15am.
